The third transnational project meeting (TPM) of GT4SME, with the theme of digital transformation took place online in the middle of April. As the strategic partnership aims at exchange of good practices among the partners, each partner presented a good-practice example from its country or discussed a relevant issue of digitalization from its own work during the TPM.
As a good-practice example from Turkey, Face Technology gave a short presentation of their work to the project consortium. The company offers consultancy to hydroelectric power stations to optimize their energy production processes and improve their impact on the environment. In short, it analyses the digital data gathered from various sources (such as satellites and meteorological institutions) and makes predictions on the external factors influencing the electricity production (such as the amount of rain expected). The representative of the company also talked about the establishment process of their own company and type of funds they have utilized.
The example of Face Technology led to fruitful discussions among partners about how digital technologies can be implemented to bring about sustainability solutions and the impact funds that can be used for this purpose.
