GT4SME Virtual Project Meeting - Good-Practice Example from Serbia: Camping Association of Serbia
The second transnational project meeting (TPM) of GT4SME took place online in the middle of June. As the strategic partnership aims at exchange of good practices among the partners, each partner presents a good-practice example from its country / region during TPMs. This time, organizing the TPM online enabled guest speakers from partner countries to join the meeting sessions and present their work themselves.

Being a good-practice example of an impact initiative, Camping Association of Serbia aims at sustainable development of camping tourism and has been involved in projects focusing on ecotourism and sustainable development of camping sites in Serbia. During his presentation, the co-founder of the Association emphasized the importance of cooperation among local governments, NGOs and entrepreneurial initiatives for creating new camping sites or for transforming the existing ones into more sustainable path. Financial support from the national and European authorities was also at the focus of the discussion.
Although the initiative is not an SME itself, it provided the project partners with insights on the camping tourism and how it can transform itself in line with UN SDGs, such as ‘good health and well-being’ and ‘responsible consumptions’.
