Good-Practice Example: Digital Tool for Organizational Culture

During the third transnational project meeting of GT4SME, the German partner, N&P Business Consulting, shared its digital tool that they use to evaluate employee satisfaction in SMEs of all sizes.

The third transnational project meeting (TPM) of GT4SME took place online in the middle of April. As the strategic partnership aims at exchange of good practices among the partners, each partner presents a good-practice example from its own work or from another case in its country / region during TPMs.

The German partner, N&P Business Consulting, shared its digital tool that they use to evaluate employee satisfaction in SMEs of all sizes. There are three basic ways to use the system: Two-Question Projects, Town Hall Meetings Project and Group and Ad-Hoc Feedback. The tool is based on the idea of using open questions for any type of issue (instead of, for example, 5-point rating scale questions) in order to give the survey participants the opportunity to express their real opinions in their own words. Participants meet on the digital platform in an anonymous way and are presented with the question(s). Once an employee gives an answer to a question, other employees can see it and ‘vote’ for it, in other words, express if they agree or disagree with the answer given. The digital tool contributes to the creation of “a feedback and development culture in an organization” and meets three specific organizational needs in that context: “it makes employees more engaged, generates diagnostic data and helps implement development actions / strategies” [Read more about the digital tool here].
