EIC Accelerator “supports high-risk, high-potential small and medium-sized enterprises and innovators to help them develop and bring onto the market new innovative products, services and business models that could drive economic growth”
It is more and more accepted that the future’s investments should flow into projects that not only focus on the economic return, but also aim to optimize the social and environmental impact and contribute to achievement of global sustainable development goals. Such innovative and impactful project ideas come usually from start-ups and SMEs, which can transform themselves and adapt to the needed change faster. To realize transformation towards a more sustainable business or to bring their new impactful product / service to the market, which are in certain cases classified as high-risk projects, SMEs usually lack the financial resources. In the EU level, there are various frameworks and support-tools for SMEs as such, one of which is the EIC Accelerator Program.

There is an upcoming webinar on the EIC Program (on 02.02.2021), organized by TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) and targeting Turkish SMES, during which experts from Europe will be sharing their experiences with the EIC Accelerator Program. While the webinar will be in English, participants that want to ask their questions in Turkish will be supported by experts from Turkey as well (Read more about the webinar, in Turkish).
In our project, GT4SME, we aim to support SMEs and start-ups in bringing their innovative ideas to life and get access to funds, particularly to impact investment. Contact our project team to receive further information and support.
